Class Descriptions

Ballet Babies I (3 year olds) ~30 min.
Our youngest students learn beginning ballet concepts along with creative movement concepts.



Ballet Babies II (4 year old) ~45 min
Similar class as the 3 year olds, longer class time and more concepts explored.



Beginning Dancers (5&6 yr olds)~1 hour

Ballet, jazz, tap and creative movement concepts are explored. This class is structured more like a classical ballet class.



Boys Hip Hop (ages 6and up)~45min.
Class open only to boys! They will learn the newest, coolest hip hop moves!!!



Ballet I (age 6 and up*)~1 hour
*If the student is 6 and it is their first year, we strongly suggest they take the beginning dancer class
This is the first year of classical ballet training. Introduce traditional ballet barre, center work and across the floor work.



Ballet II (age 8 and up)~1 hour
*student must have completed Level I ballet.
Level II is typically repeated for 2 yrs. Continued work on barre, center and across the floor.



Ballet III (age 9 and up)~1 hr 15 min
*students must have completed level II ballet.
Level III is typically repeated for 2 yrs. Continueing ballet concepts and preparing for pointe



Intermediate Ballet (age 11 and up)~1 hr 15min
*students must have completed level III ballet.



Beg. Pointe~30 min.
Students must be in Intermediate level ballet.



Advanced Ballet (age 13 and up)~ 1hr 15min.



Pre-Teen Ballet~1 hour
This class is for the student who is older and just starting dance, or for a student who has previously taken dance, but took a few years off. The ultimate goal of this class is to “catch” up students (so they do not have to be in a lower level class with younger students)



Modern~1 hour
Ages 14 and up. This class is for students who are currently enrolled in our Advanced level ballet class or for dancers who have had extensive previous dance training. (If you are a new student you will be asked to do a try out to ensure that they are technically ready for this class)



Jazz I-Adv. Jazz
Our jazz classes corrisponds with our leveled ballet classes. Typically if a student is in level I ballet, they would be in level I jazz. Although we do reserve the right to put a child in a more appropriate class.
